Britney Spears has officially settled her custody case with her father, Jamie Spears. Although the guardianship was terminated back in 2021, the proceedings in this matter have only now ended. The court ordered Britney to pay her father’s legal costs of $2 million, while she received nothing.
Spears herself has spent over $4 million on lawyers. She left the latest session in the company of ex-prisoner Paul Richard Solis, with whom she had previously been seen together. The singer also broke the windshield of the car from the inside by throwing her feet on the panel and breaking the glass with her heel, reports BGNES.
Britney Spears came under her father’s guardianship in 2008 after a nervous breakdown due to alcohol and drug addiction. She shared that her family violated her rights during the guardianship and abused her by completely controlling her life and finances. Spears admitted that she was forbidden to get pregnant and was even forced to wear mascara.
“I want to be able to get married and have a child,” she said at a custody hearing in 2021, saying her father forbids her from doing so. While Britney was under guardianship, fans were very worried about her and demanded the release of the singer.
Last summer, she divorced her husband Sam Asgari after a year of marriage, after which she began to appear in the company of various men, posting videos of herself dancing naked on Instagram. Britney herself does not respond well to fans’ attempts to find out how she is doing and demands that they not interfere in her personal life.
