/ world today news/ The Brent London Borough Council decided to close the Kensal Rise library, which was opened by Mark Twain in 1900, MSNBC reported.
The authorities have decided to do this for two reasons – the first is that the number of readers in the library has decreased a lot. The second – maintaining the library is too expensive part of the district’s budget. The library was opened on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Queen Victoria‘s accession to the throne, and closed the year her granddaughter Elizabeth celebrated the same anniversary.
