“This is historic, this level of importance has never been given to women’s soccer. The members of the 18 clubs and the Mexican soccer board join together to recognize the value we contribute as an industry and above all to give direction and consolidate ourselves as the aspirational league,” Gutiérrez indicated in a video.

“The objective is to work with independence and specialization for the development of women’s soccer in our country, from uniting and aligning the wills of Mexican soccer partners to enhance the growth of the Liga Mx Femenil with sustainability and its own identity and thus strengthen to the women’s national teams,” the tournament noted in a statement.
The Summer Cup, a binational league between Mexico and the United States, the calendar for the rest of 2024, as well as the presentation of audience outreach with more than five million people who have attended the games were part of the aspects that were discussed in this Assembly.
