A driver with a blood alcohol level of 3.18 was caught yesterday afternoon, the police said.
Around 4:00 p.m., on the main road near the turnoff to the village of Burya, the law enforcement authorities stopped a Ford Sierra driven by a 34-year-old man from the village of Dobromirka for inspection. The coroner reported the presence of alcohol, but the driver refused a blood test. In the case, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevlievo has started a fast process. In another similar case, which happened a few days ago, the technical means of a 22-year-old young man from the Sevlievo village of Dushevo read 0.82 per thousand. However, the chemical examination of the blood showed that he was driving with an alcohol concentration of 1.45 per thousand.
