/ world today news/ A freight car filled with illegal migrants was seized at the Svilengrad station. A total of 65 foreigners were caught in a freight wagon on Monday morning at the station in Svilengrad.
The illegal migrants were hidden in the fifth of a total of 14 carriages of the train that arrived from Turkey, Nova TV reported.
Clarification of the origin of the refugees and their taking to a registration center is pending.
Freight trains coming from Turkey are increasingly being used to cross the border illegally, a series of similar incidents in recent weeks show. Most often, foreigners cut the canvas covering the wagons and hope not to be detected by the border authorities.
