QUERÉTARO, January 28, 2023.- The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Querétaro reported that its Family Medicine Units (UMF) and hospitals will participate from January 27 to 29 in the second National Day of Continuity of Services 2023, strategy that is carried out simultaneously throughout the country.
With these actions, the IMSS in Querétaro seeks to reduce waiting times in the care of patients who require an assessment of Family Medicine, a Specialty or surgery, while reducing the delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
On this day, the timely detection of diabetes, hypertension, overweight and obesity, breast cancer, cervical cancer, as well as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Hepatitis C will be prioritized.
Likewise, a call is made to parents who have minor daughters or sons to come to complete the vaccination schemes for children in the PREVENIMSS Modules.
Medical care will be carried out under a strict safety and hygiene protocol for the protection of patients, as well as institutional personnel attached to hospital units.
It is worth mentioning that this strategy is carried out simultaneously throughout the country.
