The Pequeños Luchadores Foundation held a blood donation day that seeks to give children with leukemia new hope and opportunities to move forward.
The donors were arriving little by little to give blood and be able to contribute a grain of sand to this cause.
Among the donors was a mother of a child with leukemia who seeks to encourage citizens to donate blood through blood donation.
Marianne Mooremother of a family, said that since they received their son’s diagnosis they received support from the hospital and small foundations such as smallwho was his superhero from day one.
The members of the foundation dress up as Superheros with the aim of being able to bring smiles to the children who remain hospitalized and fill them with joy and happiness despite what they are experiencing.

The blood donation was made in the archbishopric and entire families came to donate.
Pequelu “until the last assault” as its slogan says, carries out this activity to collect donated blood twice a year and hopes to continue supporting children and their families who need a lot of help.
Lionel Barriospresident of Pequeños Luchadores, said that these days help to satisfy the demand of the hospitals and if they had to do it every day they would.
Leukemia is the most common cancer in children and adolescents, accounting for nearly 1 in 3 cancers. In general, however, childhood leukemia is a rare disease.
The figures that the National Cancer Registry of Panama (RNC), point out that annually they are detected between 100 and 115 new cases of childhood cancerthat is to say, that some 103 of the total are diagnosed at an advanced level.
