They captured the lightning as it struck

An interesting video was published by Meteo Balkans a few minutes ago on their official Facebook page. The footage captured the lightning strike in the town of Kula in northwestern Bulgaria.

After noon, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop and in many places there will be brief showers accompanied by thunder. Hail is also possible. The precipitation will be more significant and in more places in the western half of the Danube plain.

In the western half of the country, a weak to moderate north-northwest wind will blow, in the eastern half – moderate to temporarily strong from the north-northeast. The maximum temperatures will be from 26°-28° in places in Western Bulgaria to 33°-34° in the eastern regions of the Upper Thracian lowland. Atmospheric pressure will slightly decrease and will be close to the average for the month.

Cloudiness will be significant over most of the country at night. In many places in the western half of the country there will be rain, more significant in the central areas of the Danube Plain. In Eastern Bulgaria, the wind will weaken and will be moderate from the north-northwest. Tomorrow before noon, in most places the precipitation in Northern Bulgaria will stop and the cloudiness will break.

Over Western and Central Bulgaria around and after noon, cumulus-rain clouds will develop again, there will be short-term precipitation accompanied by thunder. They will be more significant in the Rilo-Rhodope region and the western part of the Upper Thracian lowland. Hail is also possible. Sunny weather will prevail in the eastern regions. There will be a weak to moderate wind from the north-northwest in Eastern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will be between 26° and 31°, in Sofia around 25°.

Over the mountains, the cloudiness will be significant, after noon – cumulus-rainy. There will be showers of rain, in many places and thunder. It will blow to a moderate wind from the west-northwest. The maximum temperature at 1200 meters will be around 21°, at 2000 meters – around 13°.

It will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea. The wind will gradually weaken, it will be moderate and it will be oriented from the north-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be 28-30°. The temperature of the sea water is 26-27°. The excitement of the sea will be about 3 bales.
