Agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) captured during the morning of this Sunday, October 8, the man who attacked a woman who went viral on social networks.
The video of the events, which occurred inside a convenience store the previous Friday, spread like wildfire through the networks and became a citizen complaint. Thousands of users posted the images and asked the authorities not to leave the events unpunished.

The operation was carried out by elements of the Specialized Criminal Investigation Division (DEIC) of the PNC, with prosecutors from the Public Ministry (MP).
This is Oscar Adolfo Trejos Galicia, 38, whom the authorities detained during a raid on his residence on Sunday. The capture took place in sector 3 of the Las Margaritas neighborhood, El Búcaro, zone 12 of Villa Nueva.

The now detained man is accused of the crime of violence against women in its physical manifestation in the private sphere.
“The capture was carried out in compliance with a court order issued by a court in the capital city. All in follow-up to the report of violence against a woman that occurred in a convenience store in the capital’s zone 10. It happened last Friday and was known through a video on social networks. In addition, the woman filed a complaint with the Women’s Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry,” said the Ministry of the Interior (Mingob), in a statement.
During the night of last Friday, October 6, a video recorded by people who came to buy at a convenience store in zone 10 went viral on social networks.
Due to the time, the doors of the business were closed, but its 24-hour service allows you to buy through a special window.
The customers’ surprise was that when they arrived at said window, through the glass, they observed the beating that the cashier gave to a woman in the establishment.
These people decided to record the events with a cell phone and the video went viral on social networks where thousands of people condemned the incident.
The company where the events occurred issued a statement in which they presented several details of the events and announced the dismissal of the now detained person.
