The incident happened around Monday 09:00 on Lombardo and Silvio Enciso streets, about three blocks from the Central Hospital of the Institute of Social Security (IPS), in the Santo Domingo neighborhood of Asunción.
The robbed premises were hardware store “The Angel”property of Jose Angel Ruiz73 years old, according to the complaint filed in the 20th Metropolitan Police Station.

In the images of the closed circuit cameras of the premises, it is observed how a subject enters the hardware store and hits Ruiz, who falls to the floor twice. The offender also threatened to throw a can of paint at him.
At a certain moment, the thief looked for money in the box and took the bills that were there, some G. 60.000.

Ruiz tried to close the premises from the outside, but could not do it in time. The thief managed to open the gate and escaped. The complaint was made by the victim’s son.
