The security cameras of a commercial premises in Manta, in the province of Manabí, captured the moment in which a group of extortionists demanded a sum of money in exchange for an alleged bail.
In the images, broadcast on social media, we can see how two men enter the room and immediately ask for the owner or manager of the business. Amidst the commotion, a woman listened to their requests for about 1:30.
One of the men, wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts, fearlessly told them about the fee they had to pay to receive “protection” from crime.
«We are providing security for all premises. We are all paying taxes to give you security from any theft, as long as you pay for the ‘vaccine’“he points out.
In the December 27 recording, the woman is heard saying that she must inform the owners of the request. Without too much trouble, the extortionists tell him that she has to give him an answer the next day and they drive away with complete peace of mind.
After receiving the citizen’s complaint, the State Police began its research and this Wednesday December 28 reported that the group of ‘vaccinators‘ Has been captured.
The five men were arrested with cash. In addition, there is also the vehicle being observed in the security cameras as evidence.
