The woman, with the help of six men, intimidated a neighbor into giving her his own home. They capture a woman signing house deeds that she obtained with extortion.
The incident occurred in Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca. The woman was identified as Maira Alejandra Viveros Pérez.
According to the evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office in the concentrated hearings, the extortion victim was approached by six men who arrived at his home on motorcycles and demanded payment of $ 40,000,000, arguing that they belonged to a criminal gang.
Several men searched the property, while its owner was being held and threatened with firearms.
Apparently one of the men seized $ 2,000,000 and four cell phones. The day after the robbery, the man was displaced from the neighborhood where he lived, but not before filing a complaint with the Gaula of the National Police for his retention and the assault on his home.

One of his neighbors, aware of his displacement to another sector of the port, assured that the six men had visited several of the tenants of his house to demand the payment of the rent for the months of June and July 2020. Later, they informed him to the victim who had to transfer the home in the name of the accused today, María Alejandra Viveros.
On August 14, 2020, the man arrived at the indicated Notary’s Office to deliver his home, by public deed. When she got there, Mrs. Viveros Pérez was waiting for her.
Undercover Gaula agents entered the building and caught the woman in flagrante delicto when the property handover procedures were being carried out.
The woman was transferred to the Immediate Reaction Unit, URI, where she was questioned by a sectional prosecutor.
The woman was placed at the disposal of Inpec personnel to be transferred to the women’s ward of the district jail.
