After intelligence work carried out by elements of the Armed Forces of El Salvador on the Ranchos Los Alfaros hill, in Sensuntepeque, department of Cabañas, it was possible to locate 425 portions of marijuana that were ready to distribute in that area of the country.
A minor was also captured with the drugs who was responsible for taking care of, making the portions and distributing the drug, which has a commercial value of $5,995.
The identity of the minor was not released, but the case was handed over to the National Civil Police (PNC) so that due judicial process could be followed. It is unknown if the detainee is a member of any criminal structure.
As part of the Territorial Control Plan promoted by Nayib Bukele Ortez’s security cabinet, members of the Armed Forces continue to extract criminals from communities who endanger the security and well-being of Salvadorans.
