The investigative and intelligence work of the National Civil Police allowed the capture of a man who murdered a 79-year-old woman who had $60 in her bank account.
This is René Antonio Pimentel Aristondo, captured for the crime of aggravated homicide after murdering an elderly woman.
According to reports, this subject took advantage of the trust he had with the victim and took her life by strangling her. Later, he threw her into a pile to pretend it was an accidental death.
In addition, the victim had $60,000 in a bank account and other assets, so after the subject’s capture, notebooks and cards from the deceased’s bank were seized.
“We have said it before, no murderer has a place in our society, we are going to pursue them and bring them to justice. The State and the lives of Salvadorans are respected,” commented the Minister of Justice and Security, Gustavo Villatoro.
