The National Civil Police (PNC) reported the capture of Carlos Aguilar, alias Campana, an MS13 gang member who was deported from the United States.
Alias Campana, he committed crimes for years in Coatepeque, Santa Ana. However, he went to the United States and was later deported, and while in El Salvador he began to recruit young people for the gang.
The capture of this gang member was through an intelligence operation that was carried out in the canton of El Tinteral, in said municipality, where he was located.
Police authorities said that this gang member will be sent to the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), where he will pay for his crimes.
