They can use force to force change. Are dictatorships better suited to deal with the climate crisis?

Is democracy too weak to cope with the climate crisis? The answer may come as a surprise.

This summer, China unveiled its new high-speed train in Qingdao. It has a top speed of 600 km / h and hovers over magnetic rails, a so-called Maglev train.

The train hovers above the ground at 600 kilometers per hour. Currently only as a demonstration. But the plan is that the train, like a blue and black lightning, will increase through the landscape – and cut travel time and climate emissions in one go. The Chinese Maglev train was launched in July and is the latest contribution in China’s fight against climate change.

In a short time, the world will gather in Glasgow to try to gain new momentum in the fight against the climate crisis.
