The weapon, with which Alec Baldwin accidentally shot the cameraman, was checked by two people in front of the actor. It was supposed to be an assistant director and an armourer. Like Baldwin, they both work with the police. Still no one has been charged, but there are still a few people. Investigators said this at a press conference in Santa Fe on Wednesday.
“If the facts and evidence support the accusation, we initiate it,” said Sheriff Adan Mendoza. “All the options are on the table now,” he added. According to him, it is possible that since nothing like this has happened for a long time, there may have been an exaggerated feeling of satisfaction at the Rust film crew.
