Metepec, Méx.- At the Los Palomos restaurant, a family and workers collect food and clothing to take to the victims of the earthquakes in turkey and syriathe objective is to receive the donations until next week, in order to deliver it to the Turkish embassy in Mexico, so that it reaches those who need it, said Mrs. Elsa Espinosa, promoter of the initiative.
The business where it is located is located at 1111 Manuel J. Clouthier street, one block from Tollocan, in the Pilares neighborhood, Metepec municipality, where it has received blankets, caps, gloves, especially warm clothing for babies and people that they lost everything because of the earthquakes, because he remembered that in both countries it is snowing, the low temperatures remain and there are those who have nothing.
He added that the idea arose first in his family, made up of eight members, who began to gather everything possible to send to the victims and then neighbors, employees and owners of neighboring businesses joined and that is how they will carry a first shipment this Thursday to the embassy.

“Seeing the images of the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey that are heartbreaking, we decided first as a family to do a clothing collection, there were those who have helped us with money and others with clothes, because it is raining and snowing there, they request warm clothes for babies, gloves, hats, blankets, socks, leggings for women. This will be taken to the Turkish embassy in Mexico City, because an aid plane leaves tomorrow, but we will continue to receive aid all weekend and next week.”
He pointed out that for the peace of mind of the people who decide to donate, they will document everything, from the collection to the delivery at the embassy, so that there is certainty that it will reach the victims.
“Here are the members of my family, we are eight and the staff of the place, about 10 people who help us organize everything, neighbors from other places have joined, workers and have cooperated with all kinds of food and clothing,” he said. .
