A 3-year-old boy died in a Pleven hospital after falling from a window on the second floor, “Podbalkanski novizt” reported.
The tragedy unfolded on July 1, when the mother went with the child to the apartment of an elderly woman she cared for. She unlocked the front door and let little Stilian inside while she put away the cart. Then she entered the room where the elderly sick woman was lying.
At that moment, horrified neighbors rang the doorbell and said that the boy had fallen from the second floor. Police and emergency teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. The child was transported to the hospital, but despite the efforts of the doctors, he died.
During the investigation, it was established that the previous day the mother, who was in the grandmother’s apartment, had left open a window in a neighboring room because of the heat. There was a bed under the window, Stilian climbed on it, pushed the mosquito net and flew down.
Yesterday, the boy, who was supposed to turn 4 years old on August 1st, was sent to his last earthly journey in the village of Rozino in Karlovy Vary, where his father Ivan is from.
The drama is full. Parents, relatives and acquaintances are in shock. They told “PB Novinar” that the boy was born more than three years ago in England, when the mother was only 6 months pregnant. Then they saved him. Stilian grew up a beautiful, wild and playful boy.
The mother has two more children from a previous marriage, Stilian is Ivan’s only child. Friends of Nina and Ivan share with tears in their eyes that the boy would have turned 4 on August 1. Stilian was a much-awaited child, loved and well looked after by his parents.
