Due to the concert of the rock titans from AC/DC, the following traffic changes are required in the center of Sofia:
From 8 a.m. today until the dismantling of the stage is completed on May 15, standing and parking around the National Stadium are prohibited, and until 6 a.m. on May 15 – parking on the bridge in front of the stadium. It is prohibited to stay and park on the pedestrian bridge on Hristo and Evlogi Georgievi Blvd. opposite Lake Ariana, on Metropolitan Kiril Vidinski St. between Dragan Tsankov Blvd. and Yosif Petrov St.
On May 14, the entry of vehicles is prohibited in both directions along Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd. between Orlov Most Square and Dragan Tsankov Blvd. – in the direction of Orlov Most from 7 a.m. to midnight, except on public transport buses, and from 16:00 to 20:00 including public transport buses; in the direction of “Dragan Tsankov” Blvd. from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the exception of public transport buses.
From 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., Gurko Street between Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd. and Vasil Levski Blvd. will be closed, with the exception of public transport buses.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the routes of bus lines No. 72, 75, 76, 114, 204, 604 in the direction of “Orlov Most” will also change:
– bus 72 from Bulgaria Blvd., left on Fritjof Nansen Blvd., right on Vasil Levski Blvd., Shipka Blvd., left on Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi Blvd. and on your route – bus 75 shortened to Military Academy;
– bus 76, 204 and 604 – from Bulgaria Blvd., turn left on Fritjof Nansen Blvd., right on Vasil Levski Blvd., right on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd., Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd. and your route;
– bus 114 – from “Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi” Blvd. along “Gurko” St., “Vasil Levski” Blvd., “Tsar Osvoboditel” Blvd., “Tsarigradsko Shose” Blvd. and along its route.
Buses will stop at all bus stops on the changed section of their route. Tram line No. 10 will be open until 1 a.m. on May 15; trolleybus lines No. 5 and 11; bus lines No. 76, 94, 280, 213, 214, 604. The subway will also operate until 1 a.m. The “blue zone” and “service subscription” parking will be closed for the time and in the places around the “Vasil Levski” National Stadium.
