The Verkhovna Rada

The building of the Ukrainian parliament can now only be entered with a COVID certificate or a negative PCR test.

In the Verkhovna Rada, quarantine restrictions began to operate on November 15. Because of this, several people’s deputies have already been naughty to the state security officers who are at the entrance to the parliament building. About it told at the Conciliation Council, the first vice-speaker of the Rada, Oleksandr Kornienko.

“Unfortunately, we already have examples, I will not indicate the faction or the name, but when MPs behave like this – it is difficult to understand from the video whether it is worthy – but it certainly seems that they behave unworthily with regard to the observance of quarantine conditions, and with regard to state security officers, “he said.

Kornienko appealed to the heads of the factions with a request to carry out explanatory work with the deputies, since the state security officers “are simply at their posts, and the deputies somehow behave inappropriately with them.”

As a reminder, on November 12, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk signed an order establishing a ban on visiting the parliament building without COVID documents… According to the order, only those who have been vaccinated against coronavirus or have a negative PCR test will be allowed to parliament.

On the eve it became known that in Latvia unvaccinated deputies of the Seimas will be suspended from work… The parliament took such a step in order to increase public confidence in the country’s policy to counter the coronavirus.
