After a contested competition between 39 teams, the 35th Republican Student Olympiad in Programming, which was held at the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”.
Young people from all over Bulgaria took part in the competition – 21 student and 18 school teams.
The event is organized under the patronage of the Mayor of Burgas Municipality, Dimitar Nikolov.
The preparation, organization and implementation of the Olympiad is carried out by the “Computer Systems and Technologies” and “Computer and Information Technologies” departments at the Burgas State University.
People’s representative Zhecho Stankov, the chairman of the Burgas Municipal Council Prof. Dr. Sevdalina Turmanova and the deputy mayor of the Burgas Municipality Vesna Baltina arrived to congratulate the finalists.
All participants received motivational prizes from the sponsors who traditionally support the Olympics.
Honorary chairman of the Organizing Committee of the event is the mayor Dimitar Nikolov, and the chairman is the vice-rector of the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” Prof. Dr. Sotir Sotirov.
