This rule is adopted due to the fact that a group of households included in the “Register of beneficiary households in the urban area of the monetary subsidy” remained pending payment or collection of the aforementioned economic subsidy.
Mostly, they are made up of adults over 65 years of age and people with severe disabilities, as well as households that require changes in the recipient or payment method, explains the Emergency Decree.
“Due to logistical problems in the context of the State of National Emergency and the extremely vulnerable situation of the beneficiaries, at the end of Fiscal Year 2020, payment or collection of the aforementioned economic subsidy (certain) beneficiary households remained,” he argues. the decree.
The regulation published on the night of Tuesday, July 20, states that the MTPE will finance this process with balances returned by financial entities, in accordance with the mechanism established in Emergency Decree No. 098-2020, which establishes additional extraordinary measures to reduce the negative impact in the economy of households affected by the measures of isolation and compulsory social immobilization at the national level.
The aforementioned Emergency Decree is valid until September 30 of this year, so that the collection can be made at most, up to sixty (60) calendar days after the end of the National Health Emergency.
