The Air Force participate in four training exercises.

A bill that authorizes the entry of foreign troops to the national territory and the departure outside of it of national forces to participate in the exercises contemplated in the combined exercise program to be carried out from September 1, 2020 to August 31 of 2021, it was approved by the Senate.
The initiative establishes that Argentine troops will carry out nine bilateral training sessions and another eight multilateral ones.
The Navy will participate in twelve missions, the Air Force in four and the Army in one.
According to the permit request sent by the Executive Power to Congress, most of the bilateral exercises will be carried out with countries in the region.
In the case of multilateral exercises, other countries such as the United States, Canada, India and South Africa participate.
The president of the Upper House Defense Commission, the ruling Chubut Nancy González, commented that “ten of the exercises will be carried out between the third and fourth quarters of 2020 and the rest in 2021.”
The senator commented that “traditionally, Argentina carries out these exercises combined with different countries, mainly from the region, in order to reinforce bilateral cooperation and with the armed forces of other countries.”
“Of the 17 exercises, ten are done regularly. Among them are some approved last year and seven are new ”, he indicated.
In addition, González clarified that the request made by the Executive Power keeps military exercises with Bolivia and the United Kingdom on hold.
With the Latin American country, the exercise will be suspended “if the Republic of Bolivia does not hold its elections and is not in a democratic situation.”
As for Great Britain, the Navy troops will not carry out the maneuvers if it is confirmed that any of the Royal Navy units are destined to patrol the Malvinas Islands or others in the South Atlantic that are in dispute with Argentina.
