They assure that eliminating sanctions would cause growth in the oil sector

The economist and partner-director of Ecoanalítica, Asdrubal Oliverosindicated that political dynamics condition economic results and detailed that a possible lifting of sanctions could lead to growth in the oil industry.

In an interview on Union Radio, The specialist clarified that if there is a change in how the sanctions affect, it will be noticed in the economic dynamics.

“On the one hand, you feel that you have little political influence where you can’t do much, in addition to a very large dimension of crisis that forces you to put all your effort into family dynamics and centered on yourself,” he commented.

In his opinion, a possible change in the sanctions could generate various scenarios.

“On the one hand, a broad license to Chevron where other fields could be assigned and a more extensive financial management than now, increasing oil production”held.

Regarding oil activity, Oliveros pointed out that the end of the sanctions would have a very significant impact, since growth levels would be above 10% in one year and there would be a significant reactivation of the sector.
