The Ecuadorian Justice asked the International Police (Interpol) to issue the red broadcast for the location and capture of a subject for allegedly being the intellectual author of “terrorism” in the armed assault on the TC television channel last January.
This was reported this Thursday by the State Attorney General’s Office on its account on the social network William Joffre Alcívar Bautistaalias ‘Negro Willie’“, alleged mastermind of terrorism at the facilities of a television channel.”
Alias ”Negro Willie” is considered the leader of the Los Tiguerones gang.
The Prosecutor’s Office accompanied its message with a photograph showing the logo of the TC television channel, whose main headquarters is in Guayaquil.
On January 9, thirteen armed men broke into the facilities of the aforementioned channel when they were broadcasting live, so the takeover of the channel was seen live, where they subdued several employees.
The Tiguerones
The event occurred shortly before the president of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, decreed the “internal armed conflict” against criminal gangs, which the Executive calls terrorists.
The decrees were issued after a wave of attacks and violence attributed to criminal gangs, which occurred at a time when authorities were searching for the drug trafficker. Last Monday, the Prosecutor’s Office reported that three new defendants were charged for that murder, bringing the number of defendants to five.
The Prosecutor’s Office linked Kevin LM, Javier TZ and Javier MM to this case, for whom the judge issued precautionary measures such as the use of electronic shackles, the prohibition of leaving the country and the obligation to appear three times a week before the prosecutor. The other two defendants are in provisional detention in the Litoral Penitentiary while the investigation and investigations of the Public Ministry progress.
Suárez, a prosecutor who handled cases of drug trafficking, organized crime and corruption in public hospitals, was murdered on January 17 in an area of northern Guayaquil when, while driving his car, he was shot by two men from another vehicle.
Days before, prosecutor Suárez had questioned the thirteen detainees, including two minors, about the armed assault on the canal, attributed by the Police to the Los Tiguerones criminal gang.
