They ask for help in networks to locate a missing teenager in Santiago de Cuba

Friends and relatives of a 14-year-old girl have gone to social networks to ask for help locating her, since the minor disappeared in Santiago de Cuba on July 4.

The minor was identified as Dailin Texidó Pantoja, who did not return to her home since early Tuesday morning.

“PLEASE HELP. With the permission of the administrators, I know that this group is not for this… Since early Tuesday morning 7/4/23 my 14-year-old sister, Dailin Texidó Pantoja, has been missing… Please, if anyone sees her, contact us , his parents and relatives are desperate”, shared the Internet user Danay Texidó in the group of ‘360 Santiago de Cuba Buy, Sell Cuba’, on Facebook.

According to the Internet user, the girl’s family turned to social networks as a last option, since they have not been able to receive information about her in any other way.

“We have not heard from her, and she has not communicated with us either. Please I need everyone’s help, any information is helpful. We don’t know where she might be. If someone sees her, they can call these numbers: 51076006, 53959164 and 58815273,” she added.

Similarly, other comments made it clear that the family had already gone to the authorities to report the case, and that they had reached social networks because the family’s desperation is very great.

“Everything has been done. Step by step and without violating anything. We went to this one because of the magnitude and the family despair”, indicated the user Yamirle Mustelier.

Gabriel Enrique Texidó, another brother of the young woman, also shared this publication on other pages, hoping that someone in Santiago de Cuba can recognize the minor and contact them.

At the moment, no further details have been shared about the circumstances under which the minor disappeared, but the publications indicate that the search continues.

In the comments, several Internet users have expressed concern about the minor, since the levels of insecurity on the Island have been increasing in recent months.

“God protect her and appear soon”; “Let everyone who is interested in helping share so that it reaches more people. God grant she shows up soon” and “OMG let this just be a scare and she shows up soon” were just some of the comments made.

Some official profiles have ensured that the minor was found safe and sound by authorities of the Ministry of the Interior (Minint), however, the people involved in the search have denied these publications.
