Singer George Michael was arrested by British police after his Land Rover collided with a truck in the British county of Berkshire, the BBC reported. The police suspected that the singer was under the influence of drugs or that he was drunk while driving. After five hours, however, he was released without charge, the BBC reports.

In June 2007, George Michael was disqualified from driving after pleading guilty to drugged driving.
