Three drunk drivers were caught within several hours of traffic control by RU-Asenovgrad employees. In the case of two of the offenders, the driver noted the presence of alcohol significantly above the permitted values. Around 8 pm last night in the village of Izbeglii, a “Volkswagen” was seen driving without a license plate.
The driver was then stopped and checked, who turned out to have been heavily fined – over 3 per thousand. In the first minutes of today, a Ford driver without a license was detected in Asenovgrad, whose alcohol test showed the presence of more than 2 parts per million.
Shortly thereafter, another man was caught driving a car of the same brand in the city after consuming alcoholic beverages. The device read more than 1.3 per thousand. All three drivers refused to provide a blood sample for chemical analysis.
By police orders, they were detained for a day, swift proceedings are underway. Meanwhile, a drunk driver spent the night in the custody of the Second RU in Plovdiv. Around 10 pm last night, in “Ivan Vazov” street, he was found at the wheel of an “Audi” with a blood alcohol concentration of over 3 per million.
