Hermosillo, Sonora.- The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), through its Delegation of Sonora, obtained link to process and informal preventive detention against two people, for their probable responsibility in the commission of organized crime crimes , possession of cartridges, against health and collection of firearms for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.
According to the Investigation Folder, elements of the National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA), in coordination with elements of the State Public Security Police (PESP), in the vicinity of the Buenos Aires neighborhood, in Altar, Sonora, detained José “P” and Marcelino “G”, who were traveling in a vehicle with license plates from the state of Sonora.
When inspecting said unit, the military and police elements located and seized eight long weapons, a grenade launcher, 576 cartridges, 10 magazines for firearms, four ballistic vests and a bag containing narcotics.
The Federal Public Ministry (MPF) presented the evidence to the Control Judge of the Federal Criminal Justice Center in the entity, who described the arrests as legal and linked the accused to trial, in addition to imposing as a precautionary measure the unofficial pretrial detention. A period of six months for complementary investigation was set.
