A Georgia woman has been arrested by Atlanta police and charged with assault in connection to a New York subway incident last month.
The suspect who was recorded by subway surveillance cameras was identified as Rodlin Gravesande, 33, a resident of Atlanta, Georgia, and is accused of assaulting a 21-year-old woman on December 2.
The incident occurred at the Nostrand Avenue and Winthrop Street train station when the suspect started an argument with the victim.
After following her down the stairs, Gravesande sprayed a chemical in her face and fled in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital with burns to the left side of his face.
Gravesande has already been extradited to New York
