They arrest a man allegedly related to the femicide of Michell Simón

The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City reported that a man was arrested in the Benito Juárez mayor’s office for his possible participation in the Michell Simón’s femicide.

He explained that the arrest of Miguel “N” took place this Wednesday afternoon by investigative police officers.

He added that police officers from the Secretariat of Citizen Security carried out office and field work to locate the person.

The sports host and model Michell Simón was found dead in the town of Santo Tomas Ajusco.

On February 22, in a message to the media, the spokesman for the Prosecutor’s Office, Ulises Lara, indicated that the body of the 29-year-old woman was found when workers from the capital’s government were putting out a fire on the Picacho-Ajusco highway, in the Tlalpan mayor’s office.

Relatives and friends of the driver reported her disappearance since February 18, when they lost communication with her.

Michell Simón, whose real name was Michelle Pérez Tadeo, was originally from Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, and was in Mexico City to become a sports reporter.
