Jalisco State Police officers arrested a man in the municipality of Teocaltiche who carried an AK-47 assault rifle, magazines and useful cartridges, which is why he has already appeared before a Control and Oral Criminal Trial Judge of the Center of Federal Justice in the state of Jalisco.
The detainee was identified as Jaime G., who was linked to a trial for Violation of the Federal Law on Firearms and Explosives, in the mode of holding cartridges and carrying firearms for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.
According to the evidence provided in the investigative file by the agent of the Federal Public Ministry of the FGR of Jalisco, the accused Jaime G. was arrested by the Jalisco state police in Francisco Villa street, in the district of Lomas de Mechoacanejo, municipality by Teocaltiche.
When they searched the inside of the truck he was driving, they found an AK-47 assault rifle, 267 7.62 caliber cartridges and six magazines.
The suspect will remain confined to the Puente Grande penitentiary complex, Jalisco, after being imposed on the precautionary measure of pre-trial detention for the duration of his trial.
