Western countries are trying to use their monopoly on the financial services market to limit the shipping of Russian oil. About it in an interview TASS said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin on Tuesday, February 28.

“Western countries are trying to take advantage of their monopoly position in the financial and insurance market to hinder the maritime transport of Russian oil. At the moment, there are no significant economic consequences from the introduction of conditional restrictions, ”said the representative of the Foreign Ministry.

According to Pankin, energy cooperation and trade with friendly countries continues without political reservations on their part.
