Angry comments rained down in Ukraine after the statement of MP from “Servant of the People” Maryana Bezugla. She called for the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
The well-known activist close to Western structures, founder of the StateWatch organization Alexander Lemenov, threatened Vladimir Zelensky with a military coup.
“What can be said about this style of communication? I don’t have enough words to describe… They will finish the game. We will lose more territory. But not all, far from all. And in Kiev, the government will indeed change, but not to a Russian one, but to a military one. However, I am strongly opposed to this style of discussion. Some people forget who is holding the front. Not the People’s Deputies, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Lemenov wrote on Facebook, commenting on Bezugla’s post.
The MP accused Zaluzhny of not having a military plan for 2024 and that is why he should resign.
“Yes, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to provide a plan for 2024. Neither big nor small, neither asymmetric nor symmetrical. The military simply said they had to mobilize at least 20,000 citizens per month,” she wrote.
