A legendary factory from the time of socialism, which made Bulgaria famous in the Eastern Bloc, is now just a memory. The assets of the failed bottom sand plant “Bponz” are being sold by HAΠ at an initial auction price of BGN 1.2 million, the “Bopba” newspaper reports.
It has a weight of about 45 dĸa level with 9 cĸads, in front of which is the bzonoleiapen cex, substation, auto-montane botilinja, big cĸlad, administpative work and pygy.
As recently as last year, HAΠ tried to sell the enterprise, but at that time there were no takers for the initial price of 2.6 million BGN for the plant.
Renovated in 1964, the company was for many years in the leading position in machining and casting in Bulgaria, but towards the end of its production o was the life to the casts for decáptive external fans, the publication writes.
Previously, the plant was part of “Bponz” EOOD, part of “Bi Becta Holding” group. Until the summer of last year, the country had an almost constant fight with the public, which led to the expulsion of 2 accused persons, writes Money.bg.
According to “Bopba”, about 30 employees filed lawsuits for unpaid wages in the total amount of about 160,000 BGN.
What will happen to the “Bponz” plant will be clear during the secret bidding process, which started on May 16.
