Singer Jan Bendig (28) has been with his partner Lukáš Rejmon (36) for nine long years. They have a beautiful relationship without quarrels to fill the front pages. They plan not only to start a family together, but also to get married. They revealed in an exclusive interview for eXtra.cz how many guests they would like to invite to it and how the request for a hand went.

Bendig and Rejmon: Work is a priority now
Known singer Jan Bendigwho became famous for his participation in singing SuperStar competitionshares a common household with his partner and manager Lukáš Rejmon. They started living together after about a month of relationship and have been together for almost ten years. One of the most stable gay couples in Czech show business is thinking not only about expanding the family, but also about marriage like a thong.
“We are engaged, but now it is really a priority for us in terms of making a career, making money. When we have a child, we want him to grow up in a complete family,” he said. Lukáš, whose words were also confirmed by Honza. “Especially I want a huge wedding,” the well-known singer confided for eXtra.cz. “At the moment, we want to invest our money in us and our lives so that our child has everything, but as I say, it’s still a long way off.” added.
“But the wedding has to be big. I alone counted about 250 guests, I don’t know how many Lukáš, but the wedding just has to be huge for me,” John revealed his plans for the party. “It will be beautiful, but we will wait until the right time.”
Unfortunately, gay couples are not allowed in our country, do the boys plan to register instead, or would they travel to say YES to some of the foreign countries where this option is available? “I think registration is completely bullshit,” said Lukáš, adding that he would like to wait until our weddings are allowed for gays and lesbians.
Lukáš Rejmon is a romantic
Of course, no marriage is without engagement and it doesn’t matter if it is a heterosexual couple or a same-sex couple. In their relationship, it was Lukáš who came out asking for a hand. “Well, it was actually very funny. Lukáš was doing various pranks and tricks on me at the time, and I didn’t believe him anymore.” started as a former SuperStar finalist. “Then he took me to such a terrace with a view of Prague and tells me to look down, which I didn’t want at first, because I thought he was planning something for me again,” Bendig admitted.
“Eventually I looked and there were all our close friends holding a sign saying ‘Will you marry me?’. It was terribly beautiful.” Honza melted away, adding that there were tears. Although Lukáš laughed that he had made it up thanks to soap operas, Honza admitted that his partner was a much bigger romantic than he was.
Honza and Lukáš have been a happy couple for many years, and as is the case, sometimes there is an exchange of views. “We argue most and most about driving,” Bendig laughs. “Because of the management, yes, but otherwise I have to say that we don’t argue much. And if, only because of the little things. We’ve been together for nine years and we’ve never had a crisis.” Lukáš added, stating that they were only the longest apart in the Exchange of Wives, which the couple had recently attended.
Communication is the key
“It’s true that we can always tell each other and communicate problems.” said Honza and Lukáš emphasized that they did not belong to the “celebrity couples” who pretended that everything was bathed in the sun and they broke up a week later. “I have to say we have a really nice one and sometimes it’s completely stupid of me to tell people we’re having a great time,” added Honza’s partner and manager in one person.
Honza and Lukáš met at social events, which they both attended independently of each other. But at first glance, love was not. “I saw Honza for the very first time in SuperStar, I just had a party at home and I still remember saying, ‘My God, what kind of alarm is that ?!'” revealed Lukáš, who at the time was bothered by Honza’s movements and gelled hair. “Then we met somewhere in about three years and he became a really nice boy, he wasn’t a messy teenager anymore. We talked for a while and I didn’t think he was that bad anymore.” added Lukáš. “So we circled around and circled, and then I moved in with him after a month, and that was it.” Honza laughed at the story of their acquaintance.
