The Ertzaintza has activated at 9.15 am this Wednesday lin search of a 79-year-old man, a resident of Ondarroa, disappeared since the afternoon of this Tuesday when he went for a walk from his home in the direction of Saturraran beach (Mutriku).
The disappearance of the male, of which there is no disease, was denounced this past dawn by a relative before the Ertzaintza, upon verifying that her close friendor he had returned from his usual walk, during which he covered a round trip between his home, the Errenteria neighborhood, the Mijoa de Mutriku industrial estate and the aforementioned Saturraran beach.
The search device includes members of the Ertzaintza Surveillance and Rescue Unit (UVR), a helicopter, Maritime Rescue, firefighters, lifeguards and Red Cross units, DYA, lifeguards from Saturraran beach and tracking dogs. The search is carried out along the entire usual itinerary, between the Errenteria neighborhood and the Mutrikuarra sandbank.
