Six russian pregnant were time consuming in it Ezeiza Airport after being prevented from entering the country. The reason is that they are people with an advanced pregnancy (33 or 34 weeks), who came alone and said they intended to do tourism. The suspicion it is that they arrived in Argentina to give birth, obtain a national document and passport for their children and then return to Russia.
Christian Rubilar is a lawyer for three of those women. Despite the fact that the Directorate of Migrations assured that they are not detained, he affirmed that they were deprived of their freedom.
“This is a case of unlawful deprivation of liberty”indicated the lawyer, who has already filed a habeas corpus for the case.
In BackRubilar pointed out: “Today between 25 and 30 Russian couples entered, all those women were pregnant and they all let them pass. But not three Russian women that I represent. The criteria was: she is a woman, she is pregnant and she came without the company of a man. That It was the criteria of Migrations”.
When explaining why women with such advanced pregnancies took a flight to our country, the lawyer replied: “They are escaping from the war”.
“I don’t know if they are victims of a trafficking network and it is not important. A woman in that state cannot be treated in this way. This is intolerable. In any case, as the prosecutor said, let them enter the country, allow them to give birth and recover and only then deport them”he concluded.
