Three rockets were fired Thursday from Lebanon’s Mediterranean coast off Israel’s northern coast, the army’s press service said.
“Three rockets were fired from Lebanon off the coast of Galilee,” the military said in a statement.
“According to the protocol, the sirens were not activated,” the press service added. This came after the missiles fell into the Mediterranean. The army said there was no property damage or casualties.
Earlier, Al Jazeera television reported that the shells flew to the northern regions of the Jewish state.

Air raid sirens sounded again Thursday night in the major cities of Ashkelon and Ashdod in southern Israel, warning residents of further missile attacks from the Gaza Strip, the army’s press service said.
“Air defense sirens are sounding in the cities of Ashkelon and Ashdod,” the military said in a statement.
