The Dallas Cowboys suffered their fifth loss in five home games this season, falling 34-10 to the Texans on Monday Night Football.
Dallas (3-7) could only score one touchdown in the contest, via a 64-yard run by KaVontae Turpin in the second quarter. That was all that the attack led by Cooper Rush produced, replacement for the injured quarterback Dak Prescott, who will miss the rest of the season.
Rush finished the duel with 354 yards, 32 completions on 55 passes, one TD pass and one interception.
For the Texans (7-4), Joe Mixon scored three times on the ground, including a 45-yard run with just two minutes left in the million-dollar AT&T Stadium.
CJ Stroud, Texans quarterback, completed 23 passes in 34 attempts, for 257 yards, without a touchdown and with one interception.
The Cowboys will return to action on Sunday, visiting the Washington Commanders.
