They agree on a salary increase for radio and television workers

The strike of the Unions of Radio and Television Workers set for the first minute of February 1, 2023.

On behalf of the workers of the radio industry, the general secretary STIRT Ricardo Acedo Samaniego He pointed out that employers and workers are sailing in the same boat and trying to follow the same route.

He affirmed that times are not easy in the country but that in the midst of all the inconveniences they reached a good negotiation of an 8% salary increase divided into two parts that does not put the stability of employers at risk.

The increase will be offered in two installments as of February 1, the 5% direct increase is applied to the salary and 3% as of August 1

It should be noted that the latter will not be retroactive.
