The Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) said this Friday that he received authorization from the Ministry of Education to use the schools necessary to carry out the consultation that will determine which of the six candidates for the presidential nomination has the highest level of sympathy from the citizenry.
As reported by the opposition party in a press release, the coordinator of the National Organizing Commission of the Consultation, Alexandrina Germanreceived from the Minister of EducationRoberto Fulcar, the letter with the authorization.
The party explained that prior to the authorization, a PLD commission met with President Luis Abinader, requesting authorization for the use of school premises, who forwarded it to Minister Roberto Fulcar.
The communication of PLD explains that, in the approval letter to use the schools, the October 16, it is established that the protection and care of the premises to be used will be under the responsibility of the political organization, with which the party has committed.
The opposition party recalled that last April, the Central Electoral Board (JCE), also confirmed to PLD that will supply the electronic equipment to be used in the consultation process, in which the presidential candidate with the highest level of sympathy among citizens will be decided, according to the note.
