From tomorrow, Thursday, June 13, at 10 a.m. till Friday, June 14 at 8 p.m., visitors is prohibited within the Periastiko Dasos of Thessaloniki and in different forest areas, as a result of excessive threat of a forest fireplace within the Metropolitan Municipality of Thessaloniki.
Particularly, by resolution of the Vice-Regional Governor of Thessaloniki, Kostas Youtikas, the visitors of pedestrians and every kind of automobiles is prohibited: – within the a part of the Peri-urban Forest of Thessaloniki (Sheikh Sou), which is enclosed by the Thessaloniki Regional Highway, the provincial street Pefkon – Asvestohoriou – Exochis and the provincial street Thessaloniki – Panorama – Hortiati, – within the forest space of Oriokastro (Oreiokastro Forest), – within the Panorama Forest (from XDA Platanakia to the Taking pictures Vary) – within the forest space of Thermi, particularly close to the Environmental Park and the Isenli Forest.
