A strange case is being investigated by the Police with a 60-year-old contractor who was found in a construction well in Thessaloniki and is fighting to stay alive.
The incident happened yesterday, Monday (2/09) at 09:00 when a 60-year-old man called 100 saying that he was the victim of a robbery and that the robbers threw him into a building well. The Fire Department arrived at the scene, in order to retrieve the 60-year-old from the well, as well as the EMS.
The man was taken by ambulance to the AHEPA hospital where he is hospitalized in critical condition and had to be intubated, the MEGA report states.
What did the police find?
According to information, the Police found two bags in the well.
One contained 1,800 euros, cards, mobile phone and personal belongings of the 60-year-old, while in the other bag a counterfeit banknote recognition device was found. The incident is being investigated by the authorities.
