The seminars are aimed at acquiring skills for the valid and correct information of children and teenagers on sexuality issues.
Within the framework of the action, group meetings of parents and teachers will be held with the aim of acquiring skills useful in validly informing children and teenagers on sexuality issues. The meetings will have an experiential nature, with a small number of members and will concern the residents of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
Thematic Sections
The thematic sections that will be discussed in the seminars are the following:
- Consent and Gender Identities
- Child Sexual Abuse
- Sexual and Reproductive Health (with the participation of the midwife from the municipal clinics of Thessaloniki)
- Pornography and Internet Safety
Organization and Duration
The meetings will be coordinated by the psychologist of the Community Center. The series of seminars will include four two-hour weekly meetings that will take place every Wednesday morning.
Applications for participation will be accepted from August 7 to 25, 2024. These seminars are a valuable initiative of the Municipality of Thessaloniki to strengthen the information and awareness of parents and teachers on sexuality issues, contributing to the better protection and guidance of children and teenagers.
