An explosion occurred in an apartment on Saranta Ekklesion Street in the area of Meteora in Thessaloniki.
According to information from thestival.gr, the explosion was caused by a chimney that was found on top of a lit stove. Then a small fire broke out which was managed to be extinguished by neighbors who entered the apartment.
The Fire Brigade, Greek Police forces and an EKAV ambulance are at the scene.
