Music lovers know that there is nothing like quality equipment to enjoy your favorite songs. The men’s clothing brand TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist, which recently decided to invest in the music market, has just unveiled a loudspeaker that is likely to make you cringe.
Going to conquer new markets is not an easy task, so it is better to have your back and be prepared for what lies ahead. The Japanese brand founded by Takahiro Miyashita has designed a 1.09 meter high speaker inspired by the architecture of the famous Flatiron Building in New York.
Indeed, the enclosure made of polycarbonate resin features broken cement-effect walls, giving a glimpse of the New York building while the brand’s logo is subtly affixed at the bottom.
In addition to its futuristic appearance and its weight of 25 kg all the same, it would have seven channels including two woofers, two mid-range speakers and three tweeters guaranteeing a maximum sound pressure level of 110 decibels. Its designers even bragging that it would be able to make music feel directly on the skin… and we only ask to believe them!
For the most curious, the product is already available for pre-order on the site the-soloist.net at the price of… 6104 euros. However, think twice before validating your order because no cancellations will be accepted. We say that, we say nothing… If you still need a little thought, the speaker should officially be released next September.
And in an equally quirky spirit, remember those Wimbledon tennis balls recycled into mini Bluetooth speakers.
