The government approved the budget act for 2023. It assumes i.a. indexation of pensions from 1 March 2023 in the amount of 14.8 percent and guarantees funds for the increase in benefits and the 13th old-age pension. The pension calculation table from March 2023 is almost certain!

In March, pensioners will face indexation, which will significantly increase their pensions. All because of high inflation, which is one of the indicators taken into account when calculating the indexation of pensions and disability pensions for a given year. According to calculations, the indexation will amount to a record 14.8 percent. This is an indicator that indexation in previous years did not even come close. Pensions will grow quite strongly – we have calculated it, a you can check the results for sample amounts in the tables that we put in the gallery.
After the announcement of the inflation data of the Central Statistical Office, estimates appeared regarding the increase in the level of indexation – to at least 14.8 percent. The government, however, assured that it is prepared for such an increase in pensions. In our calculations, we have already presented calculations at the higher rate.
