The latest news is that DEWA plans to increase its capital by granting pre-emptive rights (PMHMETD) or a rights issue through the issuance of a maximum of 22,000,000,000 new series B shares from portfolio shares with a nominal value of Rp. 50 per share (shares). new).

The Company intends to implement and complete the PMHMETD within a period that is considered appropriate and reasonable, but not later than 12 months from the date of approval of the PMHMETD in the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

DEWA itself will hold an EGMS on May 13, 2022 to seek the approval of shareholders regarding the rights issue.

The planned use of the funds received from the PMHMETD is for (i) payment of financial obligations of 28.50%; and (ii) working capital for operational activities of 71.50%.

Besides DEWA, ​​another ‘sleeping’ stock, WOWS, also rose 10.34%. With this, the shares of this oil and gas contractor issuer have rallied for 3 consecutive days.
